Who we are

SYplat mission: Empower enterprises with a unified semantic security plane for humans and AI actors—ensuring a secure, risk-aware, trustworthy, compliant, and resilient posture for AI-driven operations.

Where you’ll work: Coimbatore (in-office).

What you'll do

Role summary:

Shape the mathematical backbone of SYplat’s “semantic security plane” by formalizing policies, risks, and controls; building graph/optimization models; designing privacy-aware algorithms; and partnering with engineering to operationalize these models in product. You will work under continuous guidance from the Senior Architect and deliver through Agile practices with acceptance by the Product Manager/Owner.

Mathematical modeling & formal assurance

- Model identity governance for human & AI actors (RBAC/ABAC/SoD constraints, policy-as-code) using logic and constraint systems; prototype model-checking/verification where appropriate.

- Translate security/compliance requirements into precise mathematical specifications that can be validated, tested, and traced to acceptance evidence.

Graph science, optimization & knowledge graphs

- Design and analyze property-graph structures that unify identities, privileges, assets, events, and lineage; apply graph algorithms (reachability, centrality, community/role mining) for risk detection and access rationalization.

- Formulate optimization problems (e.g., least-privilege remediation, SoD conflict resolution, review scheduling) and implement solvers/heuristics for scalable decisions.

Probabilistic risk & detection

- Build Bayesian/causal and time-series models for anomaly detection, drift, toxic-combination risk, and control effectiveness; define risk scores and calibration methods aligned to product SLAs.

Privacy & cryptography-aware design

- Specify differential-privacy budgets/noise mechanisms for analytics; design pseudonymization/tokenization strategies; evaluate protocol choices for secure evidence generation and data-minimization flows.

Metrics, evaluation & experimentation

- Define mathematically rigorous KPIs for accuracy, coverage, false-positive burden, fairness, and robustness; design offline tests and online experiments with sound statistical power and clear acceptance criteria.

AI-assisted engineering (optional, based on interest & ability)

- Co-develop Python/TypeScript components that operationalize your models (scoring services, graph pipelines, verification checks), write tests and docs, and integrate with cloud services (Azure/Entra) under Senior Architect guidance with Product Owner acceptance.

Agile delivery & collaboration

- Work in Agile sprints with stand-ups, reviews, and retros; plan via DoR/DoD, demo frequently, surface blockers early, and maintain crisp READMEs/how-tos for reliable handover.

How we operate

We don’t follow traditional product development. We use AI tools, LLMs, AI agents, and natural-language–guided AI pair programming (“vibe-coding”) to accelerate learning and delivery.

Enablement & supervision: You’ll get templates, SOPs, code scaffolds, curated prompts, and hands-on enablement. A Senior Architect stays involved across phases for guidance while you progressively learn and own end-to-end deliverables.

Culture: We empower team members end-to-end to achieve shared goals, grounded in values and respect.

Hiring focus: Freshers are required for this intake. Any degree is accepted provided learning ability and problem-solving skills are strong. A Mathematics/Computer Science background and/or completion of relevant IT courses/certifications is an advantage.

What you bring

Learning agility (mandatory):

Rapidly acquire new mathematical tools, security concepts, and platforms; ask precise questions; iterate steadily.

Problem-solving (mandatory):

Structure ambiguous problems, compare alternatives, use prototypes/experiments wisely, and exercise sound judgment.

Mathematical depth:

Strong foundations in probability & statistics, linear algebra, graph theory, optimization, logic/formal methods; working knowledge of cryptography and privacy techniques is a plus.

Out-of-the-box thinking: Creative, practical solutions across platform architecture, design, workflows, and processes.

People & communication:

Clear writing, precise diagrams/proofs where needed, professional collaboration, concise demos/status.

Programming fundamentals:

Proficiency in at least one language (preferably Python); familiarity with scientific computing and data tooling (NumPy/Pandas, graph libraries, optimizers).

Cloud/data exposure (advantage):

Comfort with Azure/Entra and modern data/ML stacks; SQL for validation/troubleshooting.

Professionalism:

Follow SYplat processes, security baseline, observability, and documentation standards; be accountable for outcomes under Senior Architect guidance.

Nice-to-have:

Experience with IAM/RBAC/ABAC/SoD modeling; formal-methods tools (Alloy/TLA+/Z3/Coq); graph databases (Neo4j/Nebula/Cosmos DB Graph); differential privacy; security analytics; SAP or Microsoft Entra ecosystem.

Working conditions & growth

- On-site presence during core hours in Coimbatore; occasional cross-time-zone collaboration.

- Growth path: Progress to Algorithm Lead / Associate Architect as scope and ownership increase; optional rotation into product engineering if you enjoy building systems end-to-end.

Note: SYplat is based in Delaware, US, and is incorporating SYplat Labs in India, with 1 December 2025 as the operations kick-off date.
