Our platform connects identity lifecycle, access control, risk, audit, and data protection on a single knowledge graph, enabling autonomous assurance and secure orchestration across the business. Compliance is embedded into everyday operations: AI agents interpret policy, verify evidence, contain exposure, and coordinate actions—while every decision remains explainable and traceable.

Engineering-led and customer-focused, we design for interoperability with the ecosystems enterprises rely on and the standards they must meet. Our principles are clear: privacy by design, least privilege, explainable governance, and operational resilience. We partner with security, risk, and business teams to replace point tools and manual effort with connected context and outcomes that stand up to scrutiny.

We are in the process of incorporating SYplat Labs in India, with operations kicking off in December 2025. 


Where you’ll work: Coimbatore (in-office).

What you'll do

Role summary: As an intern, you will help build the SYplat product by implementing and configuring functionalities and services, developing AI agents, and creating AI-assisted workflows that power our platform. You will work under continuous guidance and close supervision from the Senior Architect and will collaborate with the Product Manager/Owner.


You will:

  • Use AI tools to assist with design, coding, testing, and documentation.

  • Work within Agile practices (sprints, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).

  • Learn how to meet release, acceptance, product-standard, and basic security criteria appropriate for an internship role.

This is a learning-focused, hands-on internship with the potential for a full-time role / pre-placement offer (PPO) based on performance and business need.


Internship Period & Location


  • 3-6 months, based on factors applicable to the right candidate. For exemplary pre-final-year students, we are also open to shorter durations.

  • At our Coimbatore Development Centre.


Key Internship Responsibilities


1. AI-assisted engineering & AI-agent development


Use AI tools, LLMs, and AI agents to draft and refine:

  • Code

  • Configurations

  • Tests

  • Documentation

  • Runbooks

(All subject to review by the Senior Architect and acceptance by the Product Manager/Owner.)


Build and evolve an AI assets library:

  • Reusable components, templates, configurations

  • Orchestration patterns and governance guidelines

  • Standardization across design, development, testing, deployment, and operations

You will learn how to use AI not just for prompts, but as a serious engineering accelerator.

 

2. Implementation, configuration & integration (end-to-end)


Under the Senior Architect’s direction, you will:


Translate product requirements and scenarios into working prototypes and components using:

  • Application code

  • Cloud services and configurations

  • Integrations across leading PaaS/IaaS and SaaS platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra, etc.).


Contribute (as appropriate for an intern) across the full stack:

  • UI

  • APIs/services

  • Data access and persistence/DB

  • Telemetry/observability

Assist in implementing secure integrations and data exchanges, with basic:

  • Instrumentation for performance and reliability

  • Supportability hooks (logs, metrics, simple dashboards, etc.)

 

3. Rapid prototyping & reliable delivery


Start with prototypes to validate the approach and feasibility.With support from the Senior Architect, help take selected prototypes towards more production-ready forms with:

  • Tests and input validation

  • Logging/metrics

  • Basic rollback paths

  • Operational notes

Contribute to clear READMEs and how-to guides, so others in the team can run, monitor, and support what you help build.


4. Agile delivery & collaboration


Participate in Agile sprints:

  • Stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives

  • AI-assisted minutes and action items

Work using the Definition of Ready/Done is suitable for internship-level tasks.

Learn to:

  • Estimate your tasks

  • Demo work frequently

  • Track tasks to closure

  • Surface blockers early with possible mitigation options

You will be guided on how to behave as a professional engineer within an Agile product team.


5. Engineering excellence & compliance


Unit/integration / E2E testing, you will be introduced to Quality practices:

  • Unit / integration/E2E testing

  • Peer reviews

  • Static checks, where applicable

  • Maintaining traceable acceptance evidence

Unit/integration/E2E testing aligned to SYplat’s standards:

  • Secrets management and least privilege

  • Dependency hygiene

  • Structured logs and metrics

  • Basic resilience practices


Process discipline:

  • Following SYplat’s processes, procedures, guidelines, and methodology

  • Supporting change/release checklists and documentation standards

  • Over time in the internship, you are expected to take increasing ownership of your deliverables, while still being mentored.

 

Technology focus during the internship


You would primarily work on:

  • AI agents development

  • End-to-end development of the SY platform: From user interface to persistent store

  • Microsoft Azure and its services

  • Microsoft Entra family of products

  • Exposure to SAP products and other enterprise security products, wherever relevant

  • All of this is done with strong use of AI tools and services to accelerate learning and delivery.

How we operate


How we build: We do not follow traditional product development. We use AI tools, LLMs, AI agents, and natural-language–guided AI pair programming (“vibe-coding”) to accelerate learning and delivery.


Enablement & supervision: We provide templates, SOPs, code scaffolds, curated prompts, and hands-on enablement for platforms, workflows, and secure engineering practices. A Senior Architect will be involved at all phases for guidance and direction (including initial hand-holding/mentoring), while you progressively learn and own end-to-end deliverables.

  • Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms is a plus.


Cloud exposure (advantage)

  • Any experience (projects, labs, courses) with major clouds.

  • Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Entra are strong pluses.

SQL knowledge (advantage)

  • Ability to read and write basic SQL queries for validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.

Credentials (advantage, not required)

  • Participation in coding competitions, hackathons, student clubs, or technical events.

  • Recognized IT certifications/courses (Full-Stack, Microsoft/Azure/Entra, SAP, GCP, AWS, etc.).

Professionalism

  • Commitment to SYplat’s processes, procedures, guidelines, and methodology.

  • Reliability in meeting agreed timelines and communicating proactively.
